Send a Cow continues to enjoy a long and valuable relationship with Rotary Great Britain and Ireland

This relationship began when our first appeal for support went out in 1988. Since then Rotary have supported Send a Cow projects across Uganda, Rwanda and Kenya.

We are so indebted to all the individual Rotarians and clubs who have worked tirelessly to raise funds for this work. It is thanks to your efforts that thousands of families across Africa now have the hope and means to grow their way out of poverty.

Ugandan Orphan Project

Send a Cow's current Rotary project, Ugandan Orphan Project working in the Central region, aims to help vulnerable families to grow a future free from poverty.

By providing training, livestock and on-farm support to enable the families to become food secure, resilient and to have hope for the future.

Planting Hope Appeal

Send a Cow would like to thank all Rotarians who supported our Planting Hope Appeal. We are delighted to announce that thanks to your support we raised over £1.15 million.

When matched by the government this means a fantastic £2.3m to ensure some of Africa’s poorest people will be given the support, training and tools the need to thrive.
