Reflection: Bible resources

This year Send a Cow has developed six Bible studies to help your reflections during Lent. They are suitable to use individually or as a church group. Each study is supported with a case study of people with whom we work in Africa to illustrate the difference our work can make in people’s lives.

These studies have been written by friends of Send a Cow:

Right Reverend Paul Butler, the Bishop of Durham - recently visited one of our projects in Lesotho

Rev Simon Barnes - former CEO of Send a Cow

Rev Gerald Osbourne - trustee of Send a Cow and canon of Salisbury Cathedral

Rev Debbie Pow - curate of St Stephens Church, Bath and chaplain to Send a Cow

  1. Love your neighbour -  Matthew 22:39
  2. Jesus heals a woman -  Mark 5:25-34
  3. Jesus eats with sinners -  Matthew 9: 10
  4. The persistent widow - Luke 18:1-8
  5. Jesus blesses the children - Matthew 19: 13-14
  6. Peter’s denial - John 18:15-27
  7. An Easter reflection by the Bishop of Durham
