Educate about hunger and start a lifetime of change in the world’s hungriest country, Burundi.

Burundi is the world's hungriest country. Families here have been living below the poverty line for a lifetime. Extreme hunger ultimately means loss of life - and all hope for any kind of meaningful future. Live Below the Line is a 5-day challenge to spend just £1 a day on food and drink. By taking up the challenge and raising sponsorship, you and your school can support means getting in to the heart of communities in Burundi and, within months, seeing them grow enough food to feed their families.

Every £1 you raise will make a difference:

  • £7 gives a family a chicken providing protein-rich eggs
  • £32 buys a goat for nutritious milk to sell and drink
  • £99 trains a family to set up an allotment full of vitamin-rich fruit and vegetables

Take part as an individual or as a school.

Be the difference. Sign up today.
