Calling all artists up for a challenge!
We're inviting local artists to let their imaginations go wild – as long as it’s cow-shaped. The brief? To give our cow sculpture a make-over that Gromit would be proud of.
The fibreglass cow stands proudly at the entrance to the office reminding visitors and staff alike of the charity’s roots, but it’s in need of a make-over to be fit for the future.
Head of Communications, Azita Shamsolahi, explained:
"Send a Cow will be looking a little bit different from July onwards to reflect the work that we do today - providing livestock to families in rural Africa is just a tiny part.
Send a Cow supports families to grow their own futures, through African designed solutions that eradicate hunger and poverty. Our new look will be about celebrating the rural African communities we work with and our unique approach to development."

Deadline for submission of final designs is Monday 17th June, with the make-over itself to take place before Monday 1st July. The winning artist will receive an art supplies voucher as well as the kudos of a painted cow to furnish their portfolio!
