Send a Cow is a growing and dynamic international development charity providing training, and ongoing support to smallholder farmers in Africa. We give poor families and communities the hope and the means to secure their own futures from the land, in line with our vision of a confident and thriving rural Africa.
The purpose of the role is to communicate Send a Cow’s most powerful and engaging stories, impact results and content through our own channels, PR, events and campaigns.
The post holder will help lead exciting, integrated campaigns with guidance and support from the Head of Group Communications. They will be responsible for generating local and national press coverage, raising awareness of who we are and what we do.
Excellent copywriting skills and creativity are essential. The right candidate will also have strong organisational skills and the confidence to deliver effective and engaging campaigns which inspire people to join us in our fight against hunger and poverty in rural Africa.
