“I became an Ambassador after hearing a talk about Send a Cow. I heard about how impoverished farming families have been empowered, and was so inspired I decided to help out.” Tony Buckle, Buckinghamshire

Send a Cow could not do what it does without our network of volunteer speakers - otherwise known as our Ambassadors. As part of this vibrant community you’ll play a vital role in raising awareness about our work. And we’re convinced you’ll be enriched in return.

Inspiring Others

As a Send a Cow Ambassador, you’ll share your passion to help families in Africa, and your enthusiasm for Send a Cow’s work, with people of all ages. Whether you’re talking to a women’s group, a primary school, a gardening club or a church congregation, you’ll open their eyes to the impact of our work and motivate them to play a part.

Making  friends

You’ll get to know other Ambassadors in your region and will meet up from time to time with your regional group. A highlight of each year is our annual Ambassadors weekend gathering, which is a fantastic time of learning, encouraging and enjoying each others company.

Our investment in you

As a new Ambassador you will attend a training day to equip you as a Send a Cow speaker. Your Regional Co-ordinator will offer ongoing support and you’ll be linked with an experienced Ambassador as you find your feet. We’ll make sure you have all the resources you need for preparing talks and passing on information.

“After the training day we came away buzzing with excitement,” Sheila Jones, Cheshire

Your impact

You will be Send a Cow’s presence in your local community and wider region. Through your efforts more people will understand the challenges faced by many families in rural Africa. Because of you, Send a Cow will gain new much-needed supporters – so our work can go on.

We really couldn’t do it without you!
