Event cancelled for 2018

Due to the weather affecting Bath and surrounding areas, the Bath Half marathon was cancelled for 2018. We sincerely apologise to each of our runners, who put so much effort into both training and fundraising for the event, and we are sorry we could not support you on Sunday 4th March.

If you purchased your place with us in the Bath Half marathon and would like a refund, or have any questions regarding fundraising/sponsorship, please email Chelsea at [email protected] or call 01225 876913.
Refunds can be claimed until 5pm Monday 19th March.

As our home town event and to mark our 30th anniversary, we're delighted to have our biggest ever team running for us in 2018.

The course is mainly flat making it a fast and fun event. The event starts and finishes on Great Pulteney Street in the heart of the Georgian city. There's a real buzz with crowds lining the route to cheer runners on.

Race day for 2018 is Sunday 4th March.

What does it cost?

We ask each runner to pay a £10 registration fee, and to commit to raising £200 (excl. Gift Aid) for Send a Cow. However, places for 2018 are now sold out!

What support does Send a Cow offer?


  • An invite to our Bath Half team training event in January where you can eat, chat and meet our team at Send a Cow, as well as get some advice about training and fundraising
  • Fundraising help and advice and support from the Send a Cow team every step of the way
  • Your own personalised cow-print running vest

On the day

  • Fuel-filled snacks and drinks at our marquee in the Runners Village alongside race day necessities like safety pins
  • Support from our cow inspired cheer point to encourage you along the route- it'll be impossible to miss us!
  • Post-race massage at our marquee

If you already have a place in the 2018 Bath Half Marathon, you can still join our herd in 3 simple steps!

1. Choose what Send a Cow project you would like to support. To get inspired, visit: sendacow.org/where

2. Email our friendly Events Team to let us know you’d like to fundraise for us: [email protected]

3. Fundraise! Once you’ve spoken to our Events Team, you’ll be signed up as an independent runner. We’ll then send you a cowprint running vest, sponsorship forms and a fundraising pack, filled with top tips to maximise your fundraising.
